The big news from Frigidaire at this year's Design & Construction Week in Las Vegas is the relaunch of its Professional line of home appliances, but that's not all the company will be bringing to consumers in 2015. Alongside the restaurant-style Professional ranges and refrigerators, Frigidaire is also introducing several new Gallery appliances.

Refrigerators and Freezers

First up is a new Frigidaire Gallery 2-in-1 Upright Fridge/Freezer (model FGVU21F8QF), which can serve as cold food storage or frozen food storage, as your needs dictate. To switch from fridge to freezer (or vice versa), you simply need to flip a switch.

This versatile icebox looks to be a stylish choice, with the option of Frigidaire's smudge-proof stainless finish, and it also includes the company's SpaceWise organization system to help you make the most of the 20.5 cu. ft. of storage. It lists for $1,199–$1,299, depending on finish, and is available right now.

If you're looking for a more traditional refrigerator—albeit one with some clever tweaks—there's a Gallery for that, too.

The Frigidaire Gallery Top Freezer Refrigerator (FGHT1846Q) is an 18.2 cu. ft. unit distinguished by its storage innovations, including a Store-More Drawer for frequently accessed items and a Custom-Flex door that lets you "slide, move, adjust up to six different bins and accessories" to create your ideal layout. It sports a list price of $929–$1,299, and is on sale today.

Ovens and Ranges

On the other side of the kitchen, Frigidaire's most exciting cooking-related announcement is undoubtedly its Gallery 30" Slide-in Induction Range (FGIS3065PF), which lists at $2,499.

We've written extensively about why induction is the wave of the future for home cooks, and it's good to see Frigidaire bringing the tech to more American kitchens.

Though it's not exactly new, Frigidaire will also be demoing its Gallery Double Electric Wall Oven (FGET3065PF) at the show.

Our lab testing found it to be a solid performer, despite occasionally spotty heat distribution. On the plus side, it preheats extremely quickly, and Frigidaire has redesigned the exterior with larger windows so you can make sure your soufflé hasn't collapsed. If you can't come to Vegas to try it out, you can pick one up today for about $2,250 from major retailers.
